Solerati reserves the right to require reasonable evidence of the date of your original purchase to be provided to qualify for the warranty.
This warranty does not cover:
Any materials used to install the roof other than the actual tiles themselves.
Consequential damage (weather, structural, or otherwise) or failure due to accidental damage impact, misuse or negligence of a third party.
Variations in colour and shade.
Installation or use of tiles other than in accordance with relevant Building Codes Regulations and New Zealand Standards.
Roof tiles that are reused.
Damage arising out of any force majeure event including but not limited to earthquake, floods, extreme weather events, cyclones, tornadoes, hail storms, and lightning strike.
Removal or reinstatement of any roof mounted appliances or fixtures installed on the roof including but not limited to solar hot water systems, pool heating, air conditioning, solar electric panels, television antennas, and satellite dishes.
Damage arising from inappropriate cleaning of the roof or incorrect application of roof coatings.
Damage caused by persons other than Solerati personal while accessing the roof for any reason.
Placement of any product between the water channel such as leaf guard.
All costs of disposal, re-installation, cartage, freight, kilometre expenses and insurance associated with this warranty are to be paid by the claimant and will not be reimbursed by the company.
To the extent permitted by law, if the warranty has been breached, the Company will provide ceramic roof tiles that match the original product as closely as possible free of charge to replace each defective roof tile. Note that replaced or repaired tiles are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty term.
To the extent permitted by law, all other warranties whether implied or otherwise are excluded and the company is not liable in contract, tort (including without limitation, negligence or breach of statutory duty) or otherwise to compensate you for:
Any increased costs or expenses
Any loss of profit, revenue business, contractor anticipated savings
Any loss or expenses resulting from a third party
Any special indirect or consequential loss or damage of any nature whatsoever caused by the company’s failure in complying with its obligations
The warranty will only be covered if the roof tiles are applied subject to reference to the New Technical Manual Installation 2017 which can be seen on our website. Particular attention should be given to the dry ridge and hips as well as the type of underlay that is recommended by Solerati.
All claims made against this warranty must be submitted in writing and either posted to PO Box 51910, Pakuranga, Auckland 2140 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
To validate a warranty claim:
the claimant must notify the company of the issues with the product
allow the company representatives reasonable access to the property to inspect and test any roof tiles being claimed under this warranty to assess the nature of the issues with the product
